Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC)
Cargo that exceeds standard container dimensions, coordinated end to end.
Once cargo will not fit inside a standard box, every assumption behind ordinary freight has to be re-checked. The equipment changes to flat rack or open top. The road route is chosen around bridge heights and turning circles rather than distance. Permissions are needed, and they take time that cannot be compressed afterwards.
We coordinate over-dimensional cargo end to end: the equipment selection, the lashing and securing requirements, the inland route and the documentation that goes with a non-standard movement. The single most useful thing you can send us at enquiry is an accurate set of dimensions and a weight. The whole plan is built on those numbers, so an estimate will not do.
